What is Previews?

With Previews, you can see the content of a transfer before downloading it. This feature is perfect for quick checks, version control, and saving time, especially when you're working on the go.

Which files can be previewed

  • Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF (iPhone), PSD/PSB (Adobe Photoshop), ARW (Sony), NEF (Nikon), CR2/CR3 (Canon), DNG (Adobe), RAF (Fujifilm), RW2 (Panasonic), ORF (Olympus), DCM (Medical Imaging) — up to 256 MB per file.
  • Vectors: AI (Adobe Illustrator) — up to 256 MB per file.
  • Videos: MP4, MOV — up to 300 MB per file.
  • Audio: MP3, WAV — up to 300 MB per file.
  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, RTF, ODT, ODS, CSV, TXT — up to 256 MB per file.

Why can't I preview my transfer?

  • Your transfer contains more than 300 files. When a transfer has 301–1000 files, you'll still see an Open Preview button, but files will appear as unsupported — you'll only see file names and sizes. For 1000+ files, the preview isn't available.
  • The transfer contains incompatible file formats, or files have an incorrect extension.
  • The files are too large, exceeding the preview size limits above.

Why do the preview images have a watermark?

Previews may appear with a watermark if the sender has enabled that option.
