I can't upload a file to Collect

There are multiple reasons why your upload may fail or get disrupted. Here are some troubleshooting suggestions.

Troubleshooting steps

  • Add your content in small batches, preferably even one by one.
  • Leave the app open until syncing finishes.
  • Make sure the file you are trying to upload is not open in another application. Close all other applications to be sure.
  • Force close the app or restart your device, and try the upload once more. Make sure your content has been synced to the cloud first.
  • Make sure the Collect app is updated to the newest version. If you're in a browser, make sure that your browser is updated to its newest version.
  • Make sure your device's operating system is updated to the newest version.
  • Check your internet connection. We would advise you to use WiFi instead of mobile data. Restart your modem/router.
  • If you're on mobile data, do you have enough data left to upload the files?
  • Do you have enough storage space left on your device?
  • Don't move around while uploading, as this may disrupt your connection. Make sure the device stays in one physical location.
