Your new free Basic plan is coming
We are always looking to improve our products and the services that we provide to WeTransfer account holders. As a result, we are updating our plans and will be migrating your Free account to the new free Basic plan in the coming weeks.

Changes in detail
- Account storage
There will be a storage limit of 20GB on your account. This storage will be shared between your transfers and the creative reviews available to you as part of the Portals feature. Your current plan does not measure storage.
- Transfer expiration
Currently, your transfers expire after 7 days, and this cannot be changed. The default transfer expiration on the Basic plan will be 3 days. However, you will be able to change this to anywhere between 1 and 7 days both before and after sending a transfer, from within the transfer panel.
- Download limit per transfer
With your current plan, there are no limits to the number of times a transfer can be downloaded. With your new Basic plan, there will be a limit of 100 downloads per transfer.
Once your migration is complete, you will be notified through the in-app banner in the product.
