WeTransfer appoints Adam Mitton as General Counsel

WeTransfer is pleased to announce the arrival of Adam Mitton, who joins as General Counsel.

AMSTERDAM - 10th January 2022 - WeTransfer is pleased to announce the arrival of Adam Mitton, who joins as General Counsel.

Adam brings a wealth of experience including eight years at video game developer King, most recently as Deputy Chief Legal Officer and Vice President in parent company Activision Blizzard’s EMEA legal team.

Prior to that, Adam was a partner at a leading UK media and entertainment law firm Harbottle & Lewis, advising clients across industries e-commerce, digital technology, advertising and interactive entertainment.

He starts work immediately, having joined this month. In his new role as WeTransfer’s General Counsel he will head up the WeTransfer’s legal team, supporting the company as it looks to the next phase of its growth.

He will also sit on WeTransfer’s Senior Leadership team alongside CEO Gordon Willoughby, CFO Melissa Nussbaum, Chief Creative Officer Damian Bradfield, Chief HR Officer Gwen Burbidge, CPTO Alexandar Vassilev and Chief Advertising Officer Natascha Chamuleau.
