Los Angeles, August 25, 2016 - How We Do: LA is a unique evening of musical collaborations presented by WeTransfer, the worldâs most simple file transfer service. The companyâs creative director Gilles Peterson is bringing together an exciting combination of cutting-edge acts like BadBadNotGood, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Nai Palm, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, and more. How We Do: LA on September 28 at Ace Hotel, is the kick-off of a series of events to mark WeTransferâs arrival in the United States, which are all about making unexpected creative connections.
Gilles Peterson: âThis show will be a journey through the history of LA music starting with hip-hop from The Sa-Ra Creative Partners and ending in jazz with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and his strings and an amazing surprise act. The eclectic BadBadNotGood combine jazz, soul and funk on to a base of improvisation and top it all off with a touch of hip-hop.â The concert will take place in the stunning setting of The Theatre at Ace Hotel, with whom WeTransfer partners up for the second year in a row. For both parties it is an obvious match: both brands stand for effortless and enriching experiences in transit.
âThis is our first major event in America. Hopefully the first of many as we officially launch in the US. We are stoked at the opportunity of showcasing an amazing cross section of talent offline, hoping to highlight what makes WeTransfer stand out and why WeTransfer works.â Damian Bradfield, Chief Marketing Officer WeTransfer.
