WeTransfer And FORM Arcosanti Release Compilation Album, Part Of Larger Partnership Celebrating Collaborative Spirit
WeTransfer helps to spread the unique nature of the FORM Arcosanti festival, offering a Compilation Album feat. Ryan Hemsworth, Dan Deacon, and Skrillex, now available on FORM’s WeTransfer Plus page

ARCOSANTI, AZ (May 9, 2016) — WeTransfer, the simple file-transfer service to discover and share new digital content, today announced a partnership with music and arts festival FORM Arcosanti, being held in Arcosanti, AZ, May 13-15. Beginning today, a FORM compilation album featuring 20 tracks from artists performing at the festival will be available for download through FORM’s WeTransfer Plus page. They’ll also host on-site panels during FORM, where top artists will discuss their collaborative process. The panels will feature innovative artists, creatives and music industry leaders – including Ryan Hemsworth, Lydia Ainsworth, Braids and FORM co-founder Zach Tetreault of Hundred Waters. The partnership pairs WeTransfer’s commitment to creative collaboration and discovery with the unique, communal artistic experience of FORM.
“FORM facilitates a space where happenstance can flourish,” said Maarten Kadiks, VP of Marketing at WeTransfer. “We know how powerful collaboration can be, and how ideas can be improved when different people from different creative disciplines get involved. FORM embodies this dynamic sense of creative cross-fertilization, blurring the lines between artists and visitors, to produce a special kind of experience.”
In anticipation of the festival, the artists performing at FORM offer a free compilation album, including tracks from Skrillex, Julianna Barwick, Dan Deacon, Hundred Waters, and others (full tracklist below). To download the album, visit FORM’s WeTransfer Plus page here: https://we.tl/wlcBURr4uW.
“We share a passion for creativity with WeTransfer and are excited to be partnering with them on FORM,” said Zach Tetreault of FORM.
In addition, as part of the WeTransfer X FORM partnership, WeTransfer is hosting two artist panels that will take place at the festival itself. Panels are on broad topic of collaboration – DJs discussing back to back sets, producers doing features, bands working together, touring, album artwork, music videos – all of the different ways that collaboration finds its way into an artists’ life.

About FORM Arcosanti
Now in its third year, FORM Arcosanti is a 3-day free-by-application music and arts festival held annually in Arcosanti, AZ. FORM was founded by the Hundred Waters family in response to their experiences performing at music festivals around the globe. While most festivals amassed large audiences, the group found that any meaningful intimacy, time for collaboration, and connection to the festival’s environments were often left to the wayside. The founders envisioned something more personal, collaborative, lean, and lasting. Visiting Arcosanti for the first time, they knew they had found the first home for such an experience.
Seventy miles north of Phoenix & south of Sedona in Arizona’s high desert, Arcosanti is an “urban laboratory” focused on innovative design, community, and environmental accountability. It was built by 7000+ student and volunteer residents since 1970 under the direction of the late visionary architect and Frank Lloyd Wright understudy, Paolo Soleri.
Free-by-application, and made possible through patronage and in-kind support, a diverse community of creators is empowered to participate in FORM Arcosanti without financial barriers. Instead, participants are invited for their creativity, thoughtfulness, and intention. The program includes 3 days of performances, discussions, workshops, installations, technologies and activities that celebrate creativity, foster collaboration, inspire new work & perspective, and promote the role of art in public life.
