If your transfer sent successfully but the recipient can't find the email, work through the steps below.
Check the basics
- Confirm you sent it to the correct email address.
- Ask the recipient to check their spam or junk folder — our emails are sometimes filtered.
Their email may be suppressed
Their email address may have been accidentally removed from our mailing list. Ask the recipient to visit wetransfer.com/fix-emails and follow the steps to re-enable their emails.
Quick workaround
Share the download link from your upload confirmation email directly with the recipient so they can access the files straight away. Alternatively, you can re-send the transfer as a link transfer and email the link personally.
Note: if they download using a shared link, you won't receive a download confirmation email — but the recipient will still be able to access the files.
