Deleting your WeTransfer account is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding, make sure you understand what will be removed.
What happens when you delete your account
- Everything saved on WeTransfer and Collect will be permanently removed.
- All active transfers will be deleted.
- Any ongoing subscription will be canceled and will expire at the end of the current billing period — it cannot be recovered.
The deletion process can take up to 7 days. During this time, your account will be temporarily frozen. You'll receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
How to delete your account
- Log in to your WeTransfer account.
- Go to Account settings.
- Click on Profile and Security.
- Click on Delete your account.
- Confirm by clicking Yes, delete my account.
Just looking to cancel your subscription? You can manage your subscription directly from your Payment and Plan settings without deleting your account.
