Managing content in a WeTransfer album

An album holds photos and videos. Here's how to add content, edit album details, download files, and remove content.

Tap Add content in the bottom right of the open album. Only photos and videos are supported.

The album owner stays in control: A recipient can only delete files they added themself. The album owner can remove any file in the album. Deleting is permanent and applies for everyone.

Tap the three dots menu in the top right.

Select Edit details to change the title or expiry date.

To set a cover image, select Change cover and pick any image from the album. Only the album owner can change the cover.

Tap the image or video to open it, then tap Save.

Long-press any file, or tap the three dots and then Select content.

Tap Download or Delete from the banner at the top.

Albums are meant for the collection of photos and videos and therefore we only support the following file types.

Images: 'jpg' 'jpeg' 'png' 'gif' 'webp' 'avif' 'tif' 'tiff' 'heic' 'heif' 'bmp'

Videos: 'mp4' 'mov' 'm4v' 'webm' 'mkv' '3gp'
