Yes. WeTransfer sends every file without touching it, so fonts, layouts, embedded images, and page formatting in your PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations reach the client unchanged. There is no re-encoding or compression applied to documents at any point in the transfer.
Yes. Recipients can open PDFs and common document formats directly in the transfer preview without downloading anything first. Clients can also leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which is useful when reviewing seasonal ranges or sign-off documents without needing a separate feedback tool.
You can add a password to any transfer so only recipients who have it can access the files. You can also restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, which means anyone outside that list is turned away even if they somehow get hold of the link. Both controls can be set before sending or adjusted after the transfer is already live.
Enable download tracking before sending and WeTransfer notifies you as soon as the recipient downloads the transfer. For email transfers, you can also see a per-recipient checkmark in your Transfers panel with the exact date and time of download, so you always know where a document review stands without having to chase a reply.
You can send documents to multiple recipients in one transfer. With a free account you can include up to 10 email recipients per transfer, and paid plans raise that to up to 50.
