In finance and banking, every file you send to a client is a reflection of your practice. WeTransfer gives you a polished, controlled delivery experience, with branded pages, password protection, restricted access, and download confirmation, so sensitive documents reach the right person and you always know when they do.
Send files to clients, stress-free
Finance and banking professionals share documents that carry real weight, from pitch decks and term sheets to compliance reports and portfolio statements, and the delivery method matters as much as the content. WeTransfer sends every file exactly as you prepared it, with no compression, no reformatting, and no quality loss, whether you're sharing a dense Excel model, a multi-page PDF, or a ZIP archive of supporting materials. Clients can open the transfer directly in their browser and review individual files before downloading, so they can navigate what you sent without any friction on their end. You can lock any transfer behind a password and restrict access to specific email addresses, keeping pre-deal documents, draft reports, or confidential statements visible only to the named contacts. Enable download tracking and you get a quiet notification the moment your client engages with the delivery, giving you a precise, natural opening for your follow-up call.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Yes. When sending a transfer, you can enable restricted access and specify the exact email addresses allowed to download. Anyone else who opens the link will be blocked at the point of verification. You can also add a password for an additional layer of protection, and manage or update the access list at any time from your Transfers panel.
Enable download tracking when you create the transfer and WeTransfer will send you a notification the moment your client downloads the files, including the date and time. For email transfers, you can see a per-recipient status directly in your Transfers panel, so you always know exactly where a delivery stands without having to follow up blindly.
Yes. Recipients can open and review PDFs, spreadsheets, images, and other supported file types directly in the browser before choosing what to download. They can also leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which keeps feedback consolidated and avoids scattered email threads, particularly useful when sharing multi-document packages like due diligence sets or investor reports.
On the Ultimate plan, there is no cap on individual transfer size, you get 2 TB of storage, and transfers can be set to never expire unless you delete them. You can send an unlimited number of transfers per month and add up to 50 recipients per transfer via email. If you need shared storage and centralized billing across a team, the Teams plan extends those capabilities to up to 50 members with 5 TB of shared storage.
WeTransfer encrypts all files in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. Files are stored on AWS servers in Ireland, and WeTransfer is ISO 27001 certified and fully GDPR-compliant. Data Processing Agreements are available for paid plan customers. WeTransfer does not view, sell, or share your files, and file content is never used to train AI models.
