WeTransfer supports any file type, so you can send PSDs, AI files, PDFs, EPSs, Figma exports, Sketch files, InDesign packages, ZIP archives of full asset libraries, and anything else your workflow produces. Files are transferred without any compression or modification, so what your client receives is exactly what you exported.
Yes. Recipients can preview images and PDFs directly in the browser without downloading anything first. They can also comment on individual files and mark favorites, which is useful when you're sharing multiple concepts or variations and want structured feedback before a full download.
You can enable download tracking when setting up the transfer, and WeTransfer will show you who downloaded the files and when. It's an easy way to confirm a client has received the work without having to follow up and ask.
You have a couple of options. Password protection locks the transfer behind a code that only your client knows. Restricted access goes a step further, limiting downloads to one or more specific email addresses you define. Both features are available on all plans.
