Yes. You can lock any transfer behind a password, which must be shared with recipients outside of WeTransfer, so only people who receive that password can access the files. For tighter control, the restricted access option limits downloads to a specific list of email addresses you define, meaning anyone outside that list is blocked even if they have the link. Both options are available on all plans.
WeTransfer sends files without any compression or reformatting, so your PDFs arrive exactly as you exported them, with all formatting, embedded fonts, and visual elements intact. There is no re-encoding or quality loss at any stage of the transfer. Your client sees the document precisely as it left your system.
Yes. Recipients can preview PDFs directly in their browser without downloading anything or creating an account.
