Share Figma files directly to any inbox

Figma exports — whether handed-off screens, prototypes, or asset packages — deserve a cleaner delivery than a bloated attachment or a cloud link that demands a login. WeTransfer lets you paste in your recipients' addresses, upload your files, and send each person their own download notification. Everything lands in their inbox, ready to open with one click.

Deliver files to any inbox

Designers sharing Figma exports often hit the same wall: the file is too large to attach, or the recipient has to jump through hoops to access a shared drive link. WeTransfer sidesteps both problems by hosting your files and routing a personal download notification to every address you add. You can include a title and message with the transfer, giving developers, clients, or stakeholders the context they need before they click through. Files arrive exactly as you exported them, with no compression or quality loss, so your PNGs, PDFs, and packaged assets stay pixel-perfect. For sensitive handoffs, a password locks the transfer, and you can restrict access to specific email addresses so only the intended recipients can download.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

WeTransfer accepts any file type, so whatever Figma produces — PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, or a ZIP of exported assets — transfers without issue. If you're exporting a full handoff package, you can upload the entire folder and recipients will download it with the original folder structure intact. Nothing is re-encoded or altered in transit.

No. Recipients can open the download notification in their inbox and access the files with a single click, no sign-up required. They can also preview images and PDFs directly in the browser before deciding what to download, which is handy when you've exported multiple artboards or screen sizes.

Yes. Email transfers let you add multiple addresses in one go, and each recipient gets their own download notification rather than a shared thread. On a free account you can send to up to 10 addresses per transfer, and paid plans raise that to 50.

In your Transfers panel, each sent transfer shows whether it has been downloaded, and for email transfers a checkmark appears next to each recipient's address once they've downloaded. If you need more detail, you can enable download tracking before sending, which logs exactly who downloaded and when.

Yes. You can delete a transfer from your Transfers panel at any time, which immediately revokes the download link for everyone. You can also add or update a password on a transfer after sending, or restrict access to a specific list of email addresses so only named recipients can get through.
