Yes. WeTransfer sends files exactly as they were uploaded, with no re-encoding, no resolution reduction, and no frame-rate conversion. A 4K ProRes file, a RAW image sequence, or a high-bitrate audio master arrives at the other end byte-for-byte identical to the original. This matters for broadcast and post-production workflows where quality standards are non-negotiable.
Link transfers have no recipient limit. You can paste the same URL into a press release, share it with a full editorial team, or post it in a contributor briefing document and anyone who has the link can download. If you need to track exactly who accessed an embargoed asset, you can enable download tracking or restrict access to a defined list of email addresses before the link goes out.
Before sending, add a password to the transfer so only recipients who know it can access the files. For tighter control, use restricted access to lock the link to a specific list of verified email addresses. Both options are available on all plans and take effect before the link is shared. If circumstances change and the asset should no longer be accessible, you can delete the transfer at any time, which immediately revokes the download link.
