Send your first transfer

One link, instant access

When you need to share images, a direct download link is the cleanest way to do it. Upload your photos or artwork, copy the link WeTransfer generates, and drop it into a message, a portfolio email, a social bio, or wherever your recipients already are. Every image downloads exactly as you uploaded it, with no re-encoding, no resampling, and no change to resolution or color profile, so your RAW files, PSDs, TIFFs, and JPEGs all arrive intact. Recipients can also preview images right in the browser before deciding what to download, which is handy when you have sent a large collection and they only need a few. If the images are meant for select eyes only, you can add a password to your link before sharing or restrict access to specific email addresses.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

No. WeTransfer transfers files in their original state with zero re-encoding, resampling, or compression applied to the image data itself. Whether you upload a high-resolution TIFF, a RAW file, a layered PSD, or a JPEG, the recipient downloads the exact bytes you uploaded, at the same resolution and color profile.

Yes. Recipients can open the transfer link and browse image previews directly in the browser on web, iOS, or Android without downloading anything first. From the preview, they can choose to download individual images or the whole transfer, and they can leave comments on specific files if you have comments enabled.

WeTransfer accepts virtually any image format, including JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, HEIC, PSD and PSB, and a wide range of RAW formats such as ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, RAF, RW2, and ORF. If it lives on your drive, you can upload it and share it via link.

There is no recipient limit on a link transfer. You can share the same URL with one person or post it publicly and any number of people can use it to download your images. If you want to limit who can access the files, you can restrict downloads to a specific list of email addresses before sharing.

Yes. You can upload an entire folder directly to WeTransfer and recipients will download it with the original folder structure preserved. This makes it straightforward to hand off organized shoots, asset libraries, or layered project folders without having to manually ZIP anything first.
