Sign in to WeTransfer, add your font files or the folder containing them, switch to link transfer mode using the icon in the transfer window, and click Transfer. Once the upload finishes, WeTransfer generates a unique URL you can copy and share anywhere. Anyone with the link can download straight from their browser, no account required.
Yes. You can upload an entire folder of font files and WeTransfer preserves the original folder structure when recipients download it. That means your Regular, Bold, Italic, and variable font variants, across OTF, TTF, WOFF, and WOFF2 formats, all arrive in one tidy package exactly as you organized them.
Before you click Transfer, you can add a password so only recipients who know it can access the download. You can also turn on restricted access and specify which email addresses are allowed to open the link. Both options are available on all plans, and you can set or update either one after sending from your Transfers panel.
Yes. If your transfer includes PDF specimens, image previews, or any other supported file types, recipients can view them in the browser before downloading anything. That way a client or developer can check the specimen sheet or license document first and only pull down the files they actually need.
On a Free plan, links are available for up to 3 days. On Ultimate and above, you can set a custom expiry, keep transfers active indefinitely, and even recover transfers that have already expired. If you are distributing fonts as part of a longer project or ongoing client relationship, an Ultimate subscription gives you the flexibility to keep that link alive for as long as you need it.
