Go to wetransfer.com, create a free account if you do not already have one, then click the ellipsis icon in the transfer window and select the link transfer option. Add your files, click Transfer, and once the upload finishes WeTransfer gives you a unique URL you can copy and share anywhere. The link works in any browser, and recipients do not need a WeTransfer account to download.
WeTransfer handles any file type without alteration, so you can send CAD drawings, DWG and DXF files, 3D models, FEA or CFD output packages, PDFs, ZIP archives, Office documents, and any other format your project produces. Free plan links are available for up to 3 days from the moment of upload. On an Ultimate plan you can set a custom expiry, including keeping the transfer active indefinitely, so links you share with long-running projects or retained clients stay accessible for as long as you need. Ultimate plan users can also recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before upgrading, which provides a safety net if a contractor needs to re-download files after the original link has gone.
