Whatever format you upload is exactly what your recipient downloads. If you are sharing a PDF, Word doc, spreadsheet, or presentation, recipients can also preview it in the browser before deciding whether to download.
No account is needed to download. Anyone with the link can click straight through and save the file to their device. Creating an account is only required if someone wants to send files themselves.
Yes. Before sharing, you can add a password so only recipients who know it can access the file. You can also turn on restricted access, which limits downloads to a specific list of email addresses you define. Both options are available on all plans and can be set or changed after the transfer is already sent.
There is no recipient limit on link transfers, so you can share the same URL with one person or hundreds. A single link works equally well for handing a contract to one client or distributing a report to an entire mailing list.
Yes. Your Transfers panel shows whether each transfer has been downloaded and when. If you want more detail, you can enable download tracking before sending, which logs exactly who downloaded and at what time. This is available on all plans and must be switched on by you as the sender.
