Telecommunications work moves fast and produces dense file sets — network diagrams, configuration exports, compliance documentation, technical specifications, and project handover packs spread across layered folder structures. WeTransfer lets you send all of it through a single link, with your folder hierarchy arriving on the other end exactly as you built it.
Send everything at once
Telecoms teams routinely need to move large, structured file sets between engineers, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies — and splitting that work across multiple sends wastes time and invites mistakes. WeTransfer lets you drag in entire folder trees at once, so a network rollout package, an equipment handover bundle, or a compliance submission lands as one organized transfer rather than a scattered collection of attachments. Every file — whether it is a CAD drawing, a ZIP archive of configuration exports, a PDF specification sheet, or a bulk data extract — arrives in its original format with no compression and no quality loss applied. Recipients can preview supported files directly in the browser before downloading, so a vendor or site engineer can pull just the documents they need without fetching the whole package. You can also lock a transfer with a password or restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, keeping sensitive network documentation and contract data away from anyone who is not on your list.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Yes. WeTransfer supports full folder uploads, so you can drag an entire project directory straight into the transfer window — subfolders, nested files, and all. Recipients get one download link and the folder structure arrives intact on their end, with no reassembly required. Every file type common to telecoms work is supported, including CAD files, ZIP archives, PDFs, spreadsheets, and configuration exports.
No account is needed to download. Recipients just click the link or the button in the notification email and the files are theirs. This is useful in telecoms workflows where you are regularly handing off files to external engineers, equipment suppliers, or third-party auditors who are not set up on your internal systems.
You have two options. You can add a password to the transfer, which recipients must enter before they can access anything — share the password separately from the link. Alternatively, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only the people you name can open the files after verifying their identity. Both options are available on all plans and can be set before sending or updated after.
No. WeTransfer sends every file in its original quality with no re-encoding, no resolution changes, and no lossy compression applied. A 4K video from a site inspection, a large CAD file, or a zipped export of network configuration data arrives byte-for-byte as it left your machine. When multiple files are bundled for download, WeTransfer uses lossless packaging that does not alter the files themselves.
There is no limit on the number of individual files you can include in a single transfer — what varies between plans is the total size cap and how long the transfer stays active. Free accounts can send up to 3 GB per transfer with links active for up to 3 days. On Ultimate and above, there is no transfer size cap, transfers can be kept active indefinitely, and you can recover expired transfers if needed. Teams plans add shared storage and centralized billing for larger telecoms teams.
