Telecoms work produces files that email was never designed to carry: network diagrams, signal analysis exports, configuration backups, high-resolution infrastructure footage, and technical specification bundles. WeTransfer sends them straight from your browser to any recipient, at full original quality, with no software to install on either side.
No file is too big
When you're coordinating across carriers, vendors, or field teams, getting large technical files to the right person quickly is part of the job. WeTransfer handles any file type telecoms teams work with, from 4K site survey footage and compressed network logs to CAD layouts and multi-part equipment manuals, delivering everything exactly as it was exported with no compression or re-encoding. Every transfer generates a unique download link that works on any device, and recipients can preview video, images, PDFs, and audio directly in the browser before downloading, so they can verify the right files arrived without pulling down the full package first. You can password-protect any transfer or restrict access to a named list of email addresses, which keeps sensitive configuration files and compliance documentation away from unintended recipients. Download tracking lets you confirm exactly when a vendor, regulator, or remote engineer accessed the transfer, so you're not chasing confirmations across separate message threads.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
WeTransfer supports any file type without modification, so you can send network topology diagrams, RF analysis exports, infrastructure footage, firmware packages, CAD files, ZIP archives, PDFs, and Office documents in a single transfer. Files arrive exactly as you sent them, with no compression, no re-encoding, and no resolution loss, even for 4K video recorded on site.
No account is needed on the receiving side. Anyone with the download link can open the transfer in their browser, preview supported files, and download what they need, whether they're on a laptop on site or a mobile device in the field. Only the person sending the transfer needs a WeTransfer account.
You have two options for restricting access. Password protection locks the transfer so only recipients who know the password can download it. Restricted access lets you specify a list of email addresses, and anyone opening the link must verify they match that list before downloading. Both options are available on all plans and can be applied before you send or updated from your transfer panel afterward.
Free accounts can send up to 3 GB per transfer and up to 10 transfers per rolling 30-day window, with transfers expiring after 3 days. On WeTransfer Ultimate there is no per-transfer size cap, transfers can be set to never expire, and you get unlimited transfers, which is better suited to teams regularly moving large network exports, site recordings, or multi-part configuration bundles.
Yes. Upload requests let you generate a link anyone can use to send files directly to you, with no email address exchange required. The requester receives an email notification when an upload is complete, and the files appear in your account. It's a practical way for a project lead to gather site reports, inspection footage, or test results from multiple contributors at once.
