Photographers spend hours getting the shot right. WeTransfer makes sure it arrives that way. Drop in your photos and send them directly from your browser, full resolution, no compression, no re-encoding. Your clients and collaborators download exactly what you captured.
No file is too big
When you send photos through WeTransfer, nothing changes between your camera and your recipient's screen. Every image travels and lands in its original format, whether that is a RAW file from your mirrorless, a high-resolution TIFF, or a batch of retouched JPEGs. Recipients get a unique download link they can open on any device, and they can preview images directly in the browser before downloading, so clients can confirm the right selects are in the delivery without pulling everything down first. You can add a password to any transfer, keeping pre-release shoot content away from unintended eyes, or restrict access to a named list of email addresses for tighter control over sensitive work. Download tracking shows you exactly who retrieved the files and when, so you always know where your images are.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
No. WeTransfer sends every file exactly as it left your computer, with no re-encoding, no resolution loss, and no format conversion. A 50 MB RAW file arrives as a 50 MB RAW file. The preview your recipient sees in the browser is displayed at slightly reduced resolution to load quickly, but the file they download is untouched.
WeTransfer handles any file type, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, RAW formats such as ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, RAF, and more. You can also send entire folders and the recipient downloads them with your original folder structure intact, which is useful when delivering a full shoot organized by scene or location.
Yes. Recipients never need an account to download or preview files you send them. They simply click the link or the download button in the notification email, and the files are theirs. Only the sender needs a free WeTransfer account.
Yes. With a link transfer, you create one shareable download link and pass it to as many people as you like, with no recipient cap on the link itself. If you prefer to send directly to inboxes, email delivery supports up to 10 recipients on a free account and up to 50 on paid plans. Either way, everyone gets access to the same full-quality files.
You can add a password to any transfer before or after sending, so only recipients who know it can access the files. For tighter control, the restricted access option lets you limit downloads to a specific list of email addresses, meaning the gallery only opens for the people you name. Both options are available on all plans.
