Retail campaigns move quickly, and your visual assets need to keep up. WeTransfer sends high-resolution product photography, campaign imagery, and seasonal lookbooks straight from your browser, at full original quality, with no compression and nothing for the recipient to install or sign up for.
No file is too big
Getting large image files from a shoot to buyers, agencies, or print partners is one of those tasks that email consistently fails at. WeTransfer handles it in the browser, delivering every JPEG, PNG, TIFF, RAW file, and layered PSD exactly as it came out of the studio, with no re-encoding and no resolution loss. Recipients get a unique download link they can open on any device, and they can preview images directly in the browser before pulling down the full set, making it easy to pick the right hero shot from a large campaign delivery without downloading everything first. For retail teams sharing confidential seasonal ranges or unreleased product visuals, any transfer can be locked with a password or restricted to a specific list of email addresses, so assets reach only the people they are meant for. Uploading to a request link is also possible, making it straightforward for photographers or external studios to send finished work directly to you without any back-and-forth.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Yes. WeTransfer sends every image file exactly as it was uploaded, with no compression, no re-encoding, and no resolution change. Whether you are sending RAW files from a product shoot, layered PSDs from a retouching studio, or print-ready TIFFs for a catalogue, the recipient gets the same file that left your device.
WeTransfer accepts virtually any image format used in retail and e-commerce workflows, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD and PSB, RAW formats such as ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, RAF, and RW2, as well as ZIP archives containing full shoot deliveries. There are no file-type restrictions, so whatever your studio or agency produces, it goes through as is.
Recipients can preview images directly in the browser before choosing what to download, so a buyer reviewing a seasonal range can check individual shots without pulling down a full high-resolution set. Previews are supported for JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD, and a wide range of RAW formats, and recipients can also leave comments and mark favourites on individual files, which is useful for approval rounds.
You have two options. Adding a password means only recipients who know it can access the files, and the password is never included in the transfer notification email, so you share it separately. Alternatively, restricted access lets you specify a list of email addresses, and anyone else who opens the link will be turned away. Both options are available on all plans and can be set before or after sending.
On the free plan, you can send up to 3 GB per transfer, with up to 10 transfers and 3 GB of total usage within a rolling 30-day window, and links expire after 3 days. For retail teams regularly distributing large campaign shoots, high-volume catalogue assets, or ongoing deliveries to multiple agencies, WeTransfer Ultimate removes the per-transfer size cap entirely, lets you set custom expiry or keep transfers live indefinitely, adds per-transfer branding, and lets you recover a transfer even after it has expired.
