No. WeTransfer never compresses or re-encodes files of any kind. Your PSD arrives exactly as you uploaded it, with every layer, mask, and adjustment intact. What you send is what they get.
Free accounts support transfers up to 3 GB, which covers most Photoshop files comfortably. If you're working with very large PSBs, high-resolution composites, or bundled project folders that exceed that, upgrading to Ultimate removes the per-transfer size limit completely.
Yes. WeTransfer supports folder uploads, and the original folder structure is preserved on the recipient's end. So if you're sending a set of PSDs organized by version or deliverable, everything arrives organized the same way you had it.
No account is needed to download or preview a transfer. Your client or collaborator just opens the link and downloads directly from their browser. They can also preview supported file types before downloading, though PSD previews are not available in-browser — they'll need to open the file in Photoshop.
