Yes. WeTransfer never re-encodes, resamples, or compresses your files. Your RAW files, TIFFs, layered PSDs, and full-resolution JPEGs arrive byte-for-byte identical to what you uploaded, so your client receives exactly what came off your camera or out of your editing software.
Yes. Recipients can preview images, video, audio, and PDFs directly in the browser before downloading anything. That means a client can scroll through an entire shoot and selectively download only the selects they need, rather than pulling down the full transfer on a slow connection.
You have two options. Adding a password means only people who know it can open the transfer, so you share the password privately with your client. Restricted access goes a step further: you specify one or more email addresses, and only those people can download, even if the link ends up somewhere else. Both options are available on all plans.
Yes, WeTransfer supports folder uploads and preserves the original folder structure on the recipient's end. This is useful for organized deliveries where you want your client to receive files sorted by scene, date, or camera, exactly as you arranged them before sending.
Free accounts can send up to 3 GB per transfer and up to 10 transfers per rolling 30-day window, with transfers expiring after 3 days. For photographers sending large RAW galleries, 4K video exports, or multiple jobs a week, WeTransfer Ultimate removes the per-transfer size limit, lets you set any expiry you like including no expiry at all, and adds per-transfer branding so deliveries look as polished as your work.
