The only packaging WeTransfer applies is lossless zip compression when bundling multiple files, which has no effect on the audio data inside.
Yes. Recipients can play supported audio files — including MP3 and WAV files up to 300 MB — directly in the browser without downloading anything first. This is useful when sending a selection of audio options alongside footage, as clients can audition each file and choose to download only what they want rather than pulling the entire transfer.
