Files are sent without compression or modification, so a 200-page annotated audit report or a dense financial model arrives exactly as it left your machine. On the free plan you can send up to 3 GB per transfer; upgrading to Ultimate removes that cap entirely, which is useful when a full due diligence package runs significantly larger.
Two features work together here. First, you can lock any transfer with a password that must be shared with recipients separately, so the download link alone is not enough to access the files. Second, restricted access lets you specify which email addresses are permitted to open the transfer, and anyone outside that list is blocked even if they have the link. Both features are available on all plans, giving you meaningful control over sensitive materials without extra tools or complicated setup.
