Whether you're sharing a 16-bit TIFF, a high-res RAW from a campaign shoot, or a print-ready CMYK PDF, what your recipient downloads matches the original file byte for byte.
WeTransfer supports any file type, so JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, HEIC, PSD, PSB, and RAW formats including ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, RAF, and others all send without issue. If you have a mix of formats bundled with brand guidelines or copy documents, you can include those in the same transfer too.
Yes. Recipients can view compatible image files directly in the browser without downloading anything, which is useful when a client or creative director just needs a quick visual check before approving. Previewers can also comment on individual files and mark favourites, making feedback on a set of campaign images straightforward.
You have two options. Adding a password means only recipients who know it can open the transfer, and you share that password separately outside of WeTransfer. Alternatively, restricted access limits the download to a specific list of email addresses you define, so even someone who stumbles across the link cannot get in.
The free plan allows up to 3 GB per transfer and up to 10 transfers per rolling 30-day window, with links expiring after a maximum of 3 days. Upgrading to Ultimate removes the per-transfer size cap entirely, lets you set a custom expiry or keep transfers live indefinitely, and adds features like per-transfer branding and expired transfer recovery, which matters when a client comes back weeks later looking for final assets.
