Yes. When creating a transfer you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only verified recipients can open the files. You can also add a password as an extra layer of protection, and update or remove either setting from your Transfers panel after the files have already been sent.
Download tracking is available on all plans and lets you see who accessed each file along with an exact timestamp. For email transfers, a checkmark appears next to each recipient's address once they download. If you enable the Tracked option under Access Control, anyone opening the link must verify their email first, and you receive a detailed notification for every download event.
Recipients can open and review supported file formats, including PDF and common Office document types, directly in the browser without downloading anything first. They can leave comments on individual files and mark specific items for follow-up, which helps distributed teams give feedback on a deck without creating unnecessary local copies.
A shared workspace on a Teams or Enterprise plan connects everyone under one plan with centralised billing and unified admin controls. Admins can view and manage all transfers sent across the team, apply shared branding to every transfer, and maintain oversight of what has been sent and to whom. No. WeTransfer sends files in their original format without re-encoding or modifying them, so a PowerPoint or Keynote file arrives exactly as you uploaded it. When multiple files are packaged into a zip for download, lossless compression is used, meaning no data or formatting is changed in the process.
