From a desktop browser, create your transfer as normal, add your spreadsheet files, and look for the paid transfer option in the transfer settings panel to enter your price. Once you share the link, buyers are taken to a Stripe-powered checkout and your files are only released after payment is confirmed. The whole flow runs inside WeTransfer without needing a separate invoicing tool.
No. WeTransfer charges no platform fee on paid transfers, so the full amount the buyer pays comes to you. Stripe's standard payment processing fees still apply on their end, but WeTransfer does not deduct anything from your earnings.
WeTransfer sends files in their original state, with no compression, re-encoding, or modification. Your Excel workbooks, CSV exports, or any other spreadsheet format will reach the buyer exactly as you uploaded them, formulas, macros, and all.
WeTransfer supports in-browser previews for Office document formats including XLS and XLSX, so buyers can get a look at the content before completing checkout. This gives them confidence in what they are purchasing without you having to send a separate sample file.
