Get paid for your Figma files before they download

WeTransfer lets you attach a price to any transfer, keeping your Figma files behind a Stripe checkout until the buyer pays. The download link unlocks automatically once payment clears, and WeTransfer takes no platform fee — the full amount goes straight to you.

Get paid for your work

Sharing Figma files with clients or customers often means delivering your work on trust and chasing payment afterward. Paid transfers put the checkout first: you set your price, share a single link, and your files stay completely inaccessible until the buyer pays through Stripe. Your Figma exports — whether that is FIG source files, exported assets, UI kits, design systems, or anything else you package up — are delivered without any compression or modification, exactly as you saved them. Buyers can preview supported file types directly in the browser before completing their purchase, so they arrive at checkout with confidence in what they are getting. Paid transfers are available on all WeTransfer plans and are set up from a desktop browser, with no percentage taken by WeTransfer.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

From a desktop browser, open the transfer window and add your Figma files as you normally would. Before sending, look for the paid transfer option in the transfer settings, enter your price, and connect your Stripe account if you have not already. Once you click Transfer, WeTransfer generates a link that leads buyers to a Stripe checkout — the files only become downloadable after payment is confirmed.

No. WeTransfer charges no platform fee on paid transfers, so the full amount the buyer pays goes directly to you via Stripe. Stripe's own standard processing fees still apply, as with any Stripe transaction, but WeTransfer does not deduct anything on top of that.

You can include any file type in a paid transfer — FIG source files, exported PNGs, SVGs, PDFs, ZIP archives of assets, or any other format you export from Figma. Files are delivered exactly as you packaged them, with no compression or quality loss, regardless of format.

Buyers can preview certain supported file types — such as PDFs, PNGs, and other image formats — directly in the browser before completing the Stripe checkout. FIG source files themselves are not browser-previewable, but exporting a PDF or image sample alongside them gives buyers a clear look at the work without exposing the actual source files.

No. Recipients do not need a WeTransfer account to access a paid transfer. They open the link, complete the Stripe checkout using a supported payment method, and the download becomes available immediately. Only the sender needs a WeTransfer account to create and send paid transfers.
