One link to receive files from your entire network

Share a single upload link with engineers, contractors, field technicians, or third-party vendors and every file they send routes straight to your WeTransfer workspace. You get an email notification the moment something arrives, so you spend less time chasing assets and more time on the work that matters.

Request once, receive from anyone

Telecom projects run on a constant stream of incoming files: network diagrams, signal test results, compliance documentation, equipment specs, site survey media, and maintenance reports from teams scattered across regions and organizations. WeTransfer upload requests give you one dedicated link you can paste into a project handoff email, a field team briefing, or a vendor onboarding message, and every submission lands directly in your workspace without any shared folder configuration. Technical files like CAD drawings, large video footage from site inspections, PDFs, spreadsheets, and ZIP archives all arrive exactly as they were saved, with no compression or quality loss, so nothing is altered between the sender and your review queue. You can preview supported file types directly in the browser to verify the right documents have come through before pulling anything into your workflow. Both you and anyone sending files to your request need a free WeTransfer account, and a new request takes only a few seconds to create and share.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Go to the WeTransfer homepage and click Request Files, give your request a title, add any instructions you want uploaders to follow, and share the generated link. Anyone with the link can upload directly to you, and you will receive an email notification each time a file comes in. Files appear in the Received tab of your account, where you can review and download them at any time.

No paid plan is required. Anyone uploading files to your request needs a free WeTransfer account, but there is no cost involved for them. You also only need a free account to create and manage upload requests, so the entire workflow is accessible without a subscription on either side.

WeTransfer accepts any file type, so you can collect network diagrams, CAD and 3D files, site survey photos and videos, spectrum analysis exports, compliance PDFs, equipment datasheets, spreadsheets, and ZIP archives all through the same link. Files arrive in their original quality with no compression, which matters when engineers are sharing large technical drawings or high-resolution footage from infrastructure inspections.

Yes. When creating an upload request you can add a message with instructions, such as file naming conventions, required formats, or submission deadlines. Those instructions are visible to anyone who opens your request link before they upload, which reduces back-and-forth and helps you receive well-organized, correctly labeled files from the start.

Upload requests stay open indefinitely unless you choose to close or delete them. From your Transfers panel you can close a request at any time to stop accepting new uploads, and anyone who visits the link afterward will see a message that the request is no longer available. This makes it straightforward to manage collection windows across multi-phase telecom projects or regional rollouts.
