Create an upload request link and share it with suppliers, brand partners, studios, or in-house teams. Their product images land directly in your WeTransfer workspace, and you get an email notification each time a file arrives. No shared drive access to configure, no compressed attachments filling up inboxes, no chasing people across different platforms.
Request once, receive from anyone
Retail teams depend on a constant flow of imagery from many directions at once: suppliers sending new product shots, brand partners sharing campaign visuals, studio photographers delivering edited lookbook files, and vendors submitting promotional assets before a launch window. WeTransfer upload requests give you a single link you can paste into a supplier brief, a vendor onboarding email, or a wholesale portal message, routing every submission straight to your workspace the moment it is uploaded. Product photography arrives exactly as it was shot and exported, with no compression or quality loss, so high-resolution JPEGs, PNGs, TIFFs, and RAW files are retail-ready from the start. You can preview incoming images directly in your browser before downloading, making it straightforward to confirm the right assets have arrived without pulling everything to your local drive first. Both you and anyone uploading through your request need a free WeTransfer account, and a new request takes only moments to create and share.

All your questions answered.
Log in to WeTransfer, click Request Files on the homepage, give your request a title, and optionally add instructions such as file format requirements, naming conventions, or image dimensions. WeTransfer generates a shareable link you can send to any supplier, studio, or partner. When someone uploads through your link, you receive an email notification and the files appear in the Received tab of your account.
No paid plan is required to upload. Anyone uploading through your request link does need a free WeTransfer account, but there is no cost involved for them. You also need at least a free account to create the request in the first place, which takes only a moment to set up.
Files are never compressed or re-encoded during upload. Product images, including high-resolution JPEGs, PNGs, TIFFs, RAW formats, and layered design files, arrive exactly as the sender exported or shot them. This matters in retail workflows where images go straight to e-commerce listings, print production, or campaign assets and need to meet precise quality standards.
Yes. WeTransfer supports in-browser previews for JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD, and several RAW formats, so you can review incoming shots without downloading everything first. Recipients can also browse individual files within a transfer and download only the images they need, which keeps your workflow tidy when suppliers send large batches of mixed assets.
Upload requests do not expire on their own, so you can keep a single link active across multiple collection cycles or seasonal launches and share it repeatedly. When a shoot or submission window wraps up, you can close the request from your Transfers panel to stop accepting new uploads, or delete it entirely. You can create as many separate requests as you need, making it easy to organize submissions by brand, season, or supplier.
