Create an upload request link and share it with vendors, suppliers, logistics partners, or contractors. Their documents land directly in your WeTransfer workspace, and you get an email notification each time something arrives. No shared drive permissions to configure, no attachments lost in busy inboxes, no chasing down the contracts and forms you need.
Request once, receive from anyone
Retail operations run on paperwork: supplier agreements, product certificates, delivery confirmations, compliance forms, and onboarding documents that need to flow in from dozens of external contacts. WeTransfer upload requests give you a dedicated link you can drop into a vendor onboarding email, a procurement message, or a partner briefing, routing every document straight to your workspace the moment it is submitted. Spreadsheets, PDFs, Word documents, and signed contracts all arrive exactly as they were created, with no compression or alteration, so nothing gets mangled in transit before it reaches your team. You can preview PDFs and supported document formats directly in your browser before downloading, which makes confirming the right paperwork has arrived much faster when you are managing multiple supplier relationships at once. Both you and anyone uploading to your request need a free WeTransfer account, and a new request takes only a moment to create and share.

All your questions answered.
Log in to your WeTransfer account, click Request Files on the homepage, give your request a title such as "Supplier Compliance Documents" or "Vendor Onboarding Forms", and optionally add instructions covering file formats or naming conventions. WeTransfer generates a shareable link you can paste directly into a procurement email or supplier portal message. When a vendor uploads, you receive an email notification and the files appear in the Received tab of your account.
No paid plan is required. Anyone uploading to your request needs a free WeTransfer account, which takes only a moment to create. Your suppliers and partners do not need to subscribe to anything, making it straightforward to onboard external contacts who may be unfamiliar with the platform.
WeTransfer handles any file type, so you can collect PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, scanned contracts, compliance certificates, and signed purchase orders without any restrictions on format. Files arrive exactly as the sender uploaded them, with no compression or quality loss, which matters when you are receiving multi-page compliance documents or detailed product specification sheets that need to remain intact.
Yes. When creating your request, you can add a message field with specific instructions, such as required file formats, naming conventions like "BrandName_Invoice_Date", or a submission deadline. Clear instructions reduce back-and-forth with vendors and help ensure the documents that arrive are ready to use without follow-up.
File requests stay active until you manually close or delete them, so you can share the same link across an entire vendor onboarding cycle or a seasonal buying period without creating a new request each time. When you no longer need submissions, go to your Transfers panel, find the request, and close it. Anyone who visits the link after that will see a message that the request is no longer available.
