The simplest way to collect files from your retail network

Share one upload link with suppliers, vendors, photographers, or store teams and let the files come to you. Every submission lands directly in your WeTransfer workspace, and you get an email notification the moment something arrives. No shared drive permissions to set up, no chasing people for attachments.

Send your first transfer

Request once, receive from anyone

Retail moves fast, and waiting on product images, brand assets, size guides, supplier invoices, or campaign materials from multiple sources slows everything down. WeTransfer upload requests give you a single link to drop into a vendor onboarding email, a buyer communication, or a seasonal campaign brief, and every file submitted routes straight to your workspace without any back-and-forth. Product photos, lookbooks, spreadsheets, PDFs, design files, and ZIP archives all arrive exactly as they were saved, with no compression or quality loss, so a high-resolution packshot or a print-ready file reaches you in the same condition it left the sender. You can preview supported file types directly in your browser to confirm the right assets have come through before pulling anything into your workflow. Both you and anyone uploading to your request need a free WeTransfer account, and a new request takes only seconds to create and share.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Log in to WeTransfer, click Request Files on the homepage, give your request a title, and optionally add instructions such as file format requirements or naming conventions. WeTransfer generates a shareable link you can paste into a supplier email, a vendor portal message, or a seasonal brief. Every file uploaded through that link goes straight to the Received tab in your account, and you get an email notification each time something arrives.

No paid plan is required. Anyone uploading to your request needs a free WeTransfer account, but nothing more. That makes it straightforward to collect assets from a wide network of retail partners, freelance photographers, or external agencies without asking them to subscribe to anything.

WeTransfer supports any file type, so you can collect product photography, video content, lookbook PDFs, CAD or design files, spreadsheets, signed agreements, and ZIP archives all through the same link. Files arrive exactly as they were created, with no compression or quality loss, so high-resolution product images and print-ready artwork reach you in their original condition.

Yes. When creating a request you can include a title and a message with specific instructions, such as required file formats, naming conventions, or deadlines. Clear instructions reduce the back-and-forth that slows retail workflows down and help ensure the right assets arrive the first time.

Yes. You can create separate upload request links for different suppliers, product lines, or campaigns and manage them all from the Transfers panel under Requested. You can close any request when you have everything you need, which stops new uploads from coming in, or delete it entirely. Free and Starter plan transfers expire after 3 days, while Ultimate plan users can set a custom expiry or keep requests active as long as needed.
