Every video they upload routes straight to your workspace, and you receive an email notification each time a file arrives.
No paid plan is required on either side. Anyone uploading to your request needs a free WeTransfer account, and creating the request itself also requires a free account. That means a freelance videographer or a guest contributing footage can upload directly to your workspace without subscribing to anything.
WeTransfer does not re-encode or compress video files, so footage arrives exactly as it was recorded.
