Go to wetransfer.com and click Request Files on the homepage. Give your request a title, add any instructions you want the uploader to see, and WeTransfer generates a shareable link. Copy it and send it wherever makes sense: an email, a brief, a team chat, or a project page.
Yes. Your upload request link works for as many people as you want to share it with. Each person uploads independently, and you receive a separate email notification when each upload comes in. Everything collects in the Received section of your account.
Yes, a free WeTransfer account is required to upload files through a request link. Creating an account is quick and costs nothing. Anyone without an account will be prompted to sign up before they can upload.
Upload requests do not expire automatically, so your link stays active until you close or delete it. You can close a request at any time from your Transfers panel to stop accepting new uploads, or delete it entirely if you no longer need it.
Files uploaded through your request link appear in the Received section of your WeTransfer account. You can preview supported file types, including images, video, audio, and PDFs, directly in your browser before deciding what to download. WeTransfer also sends you an email notification each time a new file arrives.
