Create an upload request and share the link with your clients, models, or collaborators. They drop their photos straight into your WeTransfer workspace, and you get an email notification the moment each batch arrives. No shared drives, no email attachments, no chasing anyone down.
Request once, receive from anyone
As a photographer or videographer, collecting image files from clients often means juggling multiple threads across email, messaging apps, and cloud storage links. WeTransfer upload requests give you a single link to share, and every photo your clients send lands directly in your workspace. Images arrive in their original quality, so RAW files, high-resolution JPEGs, and TIFFs come through exactly as captured, with no compression or resolution loss. You can preview photos right in your browser before downloading anything, which makes it easy to check what's come in without pulling every file to your machine. Both you and anyone uploading photos to you will need a free WeTransfer account, and the setup takes just a couple of minutes.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
From your WeTransfer account, click Request Files on the homepage, give your request a title, and optionally add instructions for your clients, such as preferred file formats or naming conventions. Once created, you get a link you can paste into an email, a client brief, or a booking confirmation. Anyone who opens it can upload photos directly to you.
Clients can send any file type through an upload request, including RAW formats like ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, and RAF, as well as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD, and more. Files arrive untouched, exactly as shot or exported, so you never have to worry about quality loss on the way in.
Yes. WeTransfer sends you an email notification each time someone uploads files through your request link, so you always know the moment new photos land. Uploaded files also appear in the Received tab of your account, where you can review and download them whenever you're ready.
Absolutely. You can share the same request link with as many clients as you like, whether that's a single shoot or an entire roster. Each person uploads independently, and you receive a separate notification for each delivery, so nothing gets mixed up or missed.
Yes, both you and the people uploading photos to you need a free WeTransfer account. Creating one takes just a minute and costs nothing, so it's a low barrier for clients. You don't need a paid plan to use upload requests, though paid plans unlock features like custom expiry and branded pages if you want a more polished client experience.
