Yes. On WeTransfer Ultimate and above, you can remove the expiry on any transfer so the download link stays active indefinitely, or set a custom date that suits your campaign timeline. That means a lookbook or wholesale catalogue shared with a buyer in January is still accessible in March without anyone needing to re-upload. Free plan transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days, so for evergreen retail content a paid plan is the right fit.
WeTransfer handles any file type without modification, including high-resolution JPEG and PNG product photography, layered PSD or design files, print-ready PDFs, MP4 promotional videos, ZIP archives of seasonal asset packs, and Office documents like range plans or supplier contracts. Files are sent in their original quality with no compression or re-encoding, so what a buyer or agency receives matches exactly what was uploaded.
You can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only the recipients you name can open the transfer after verifying their identity. For broader sharing where you still want visibility, tracked downloads prompt anyone with the link to verify their email before downloading, and you see exactly who accessed the files and when. Both options are available across all plans and can be updated after a transfer has already been sent.
Yes. Recipients can preview images, video, audio, and PDFs directly in their browser without downloading anything first, which is useful when a buyer wants to check a product shot or a franchisee needs to confirm they have the right version of a floor layout. On the Free plan, expired transfers cannot be recovered and the files are permanently deleted from WeTransfer's servers. On Ultimate and above, you can recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before you upgraded your plan, so an accidentally short-lived link does not mean the work is gone. To avoid the situation entirely, Ultimate users can set transfers to never expire, keeping seasonal assets and supplier materials available for as long as the relationship requires.
