Free accounts cap transfers at 3 days, so if you need photos to stay accessible long-term, a paid plan is the right fit. No. WeTransfer sends files in their original quality with no re-encoding, no resolution reduction, and no lossy compression applied. A 50 MB RAW file arrives as a 50 MB RAW file, and a full-resolution TIFF or PSD comes through exactly as you exported it. The only packaging WeTransfer applies is lossless zipping when recipients download multiple files at once, which does not alter your image data.
