Free plan transfers close after 3 days, so for documents like policy guides or grant materials that need long-term availability, an upgraded plan is the right fit. You can also adjust or remove the expiry date on an active transfer at any time from your Transfers panel.
No. WeTransfer sends files in their original state with no compression, re-encoding, or reformatting, so the PDF your recipients download is identical to the one you uploaded. When multiple files are bundled together, they are packaged using lossless compression that does not affect the content of individual files.
