Yes. On an Ultimate plan or above, you can set a transfer to never expire, so a link shared at the start of term is still working at the end of it. Free and Starter transfers close after a maximum of three days, which is not practical for ongoing course resources. With a permanent link, students can download lecture notes, assignment briefs, or reading packs whenever they need them without chasing you for a resend.

WeTransfer sends files exactly as they leave your device, with no re-encoding and no resolution loss, so lecture recordings, tutorial videos, and audio content arrive in their original quality. On Ultimate and above, there is no transfer size limit, which is useful for high-resolution or lengthy recordings that other tools reject or compress. On a Free plan, transfers close after a maximum of three days and cannot be recovered once expired. If a student misses the window, you would need to re-upload and share a new link. Upgrading to Ultimate lets you recover expired transfers even retroactively, and also gives you the option to set transfers so they never expire in the first place, which is far more practical for distributing materials that students may need to access throughout a course.
