Anyone opening the link is shown a password prompt and cannot view or download any file until they enter the correct code.

That means you share the password through a separate channel, such as a phone call, a secure messaging platform, or an encrypted email, which keeps the credential independent from the transfer link itself. Yes. Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer, and you can set, change, or remove the password at any time without re-uploading any files.
