When you add your files to the transfer window, look for the password field in the transfer options before clicking Transfer. Type in the password you want, finish uploading, and the recipient will be prompted to enter it before they can access anything. The password is never included in WeTransfer's notification email, so you share it with your client or collaborator separately, through Slack, a call, or wherever you prefer.
No account is needed on the recipient side. Your client simply opens the transfer link, enters the password you share with them, and can then preview or download the files. They never have to sign up or log in, which keeps the handoff smooth even when sharing assets with external stakeholders or agencies.
