WeTransfer works in any mobile browser on iOS or Android, so you can send files straight from your phone without installing anything. Add your files, pick how they arrive — a direct email or a shareable link — and whoever receives them can download without creating an account.
Transfer files from any device
Most phones are perfectly capable of sending large files; the tools usually get in the way. WeTransfer runs directly in your mobile browser, letting you upload anything from audio recordings and design files to zipped folders and 3D assets, then get them to the right person in a couple of taps. You can drop a link into any chat app, email, or social post, or send files straight to someone's inbox. Everything arrives exactly as it left your phone — no compression, no format changes, nothing stripped out. If you're sending something sensitive, you can lock the transfer with a password or restrict access to specific email addresses before it goes out.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

No app required. WeTransfer runs in any mobile browser on iOS or Android, so you can go to wetransfer.com and start uploading straight away. If you do want a native experience on iPhone, there is a WeTransfer iOS app available, but it is entirely optional.
Yes. When sending by email, you can add multiple recipients directly in the transfer window. Alternatively, switch to a link transfer and share that link anywhere — a group chat, a social post, or a message thread — with no cap on how many people can open it.
WeTransfer accepts any file type — audio, video, images, PDFs, Office documents, design files, CAD files, ZIP archives, and more. You can also upload entire folders and recipients will get them with the original structure intact, which saves a lot of reorganising on their end.
Recipients can open images, video, audio, and PDFs directly in their browser without downloading anything first. They can also mark favourites and leave comments on individual files, making it easy to give quick feedback on a batch of assets without pulling everything down to their device.
You need a free WeTransfer account to send — but it only takes a moment to create one, and whoever receives your files can download without signing up at all. Your account also gives you a transfer history so you can check whether files have been downloaded, resend links, or delete a transfer if you change your mind.
