Video footage doesn't stop being useful the moment you hit send. WeTransfer's Transfers panel gives you a live view of every clip and reel you've shared, so you can rename, resend, restrict, or delete any past transfer the moment something needs to change.
Keep track of all your files
Video editors, cinematographers, and production teams often need to revisit footage transfers days or weeks after the fact, and WeTransfer makes that straightforward from one central panel. Every transfer you've sent stays logged and searchable, so tracking down a specific cut, sequence, or camera reel takes seconds rather than a scroll through old emails. If a client's link has gone cold or a new collaborator needs access, you can copy the download link straight from your transfer list without uploading anything again. Recipients can preview video files directly in the browser before downloading, which means they can confirm they have the right cut before pulling the full file. For footage that's sensitive or still in production, you can add or update a password on a sent transfer, tighten access to specific email addresses, or delete the transfer entirely to cut off the download link immediately.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Open your Transfers panel and use the search bar to look up a transfer by name. If you titled the transfer when you sent it, that label appears across your panel, in notification emails, and in the downloaded folder name, making it much easier to locate a specific shoot or edit. You can also rename past transfers from the panel to add project names, episode numbers, or version tags that make future searches faster.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, hover over the transfer and copy the download link, then share it directly with whoever needs access. If you sent the original as an email transfer, you can also forward it to new recipients from the same panel without touching the source files. This works as long as the transfer is still active.
Yes, recipients can watch MP4 and MOV files (up to 300 MB) directly in the browser before deciding what to download. This is useful when you've sent a multi-clip transfer and a collaborator only needs a specific scene or sequence. They can also leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which keeps feedback tied to the exact footage rather than scattered across messages.
From the transfer details page, you can enable restricted access to lock the transfer to specific email addresses, so only people on your list can open the link. You can also add or change a password on a sent transfer at any time. If a production wraps or a client relationship ends, you can delete the transfer outright to immediately revoke the download link for everyone.
Basic download tracking is available on all plans. In your Transfers panel, each sent transfer shows a status indicating whether it has been downloaded. For email transfers, you can see a checkmark next to each recipient's address and hover to see the exact date and time they downloaded. If you need more detail, enabling tracked downloads requires recipients to verify their email before accessing the files, and you receive a notification each time someone downloads.
