Your sent telecom documents, always within reach

In telecoms, documentation moves fast — network specs, compliance reports, service agreements, technical briefs. WeTransfer's Transfers panel keeps a clear log of every document package you've shared, so you can search, update, resend, or revoke access from one place, without starting over.

Keep track of all your files

Telecom teams share a high volume of documents at every stage of a project — from initial proposals and regulatory filings to change orders and sign-off reports — and tracking what went where matters long after the send button is clicked. WeTransfer logs every transfer you've sent in a searchable panel, so finding a specific document package takes moments rather than a trawl through inboxes. If personnel change or a contract is reassigned, you can copy a transfer's download link directly from your list and pass it to the new contact without re-uploading anything. Sensitive materials like network configuration files, SLAs, or compliance documentation can have a password added or changed after sending, and you can delete any transfer immediately to cut off the download link for everyone who has it. Recipients can also preview PDFs and Office documents in the browser before downloading, which keeps distribution to large engineering or operations teams straightforward.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Every transfer you've sent is stored in your Transfers panel on WeTransfer, where you can search by title. If you gave the transfer a name before sending — for example, the project name or document type — you can locate it in seconds. For future transfers, adding a clear title at upload time makes searching across a large telecom project history much faster.

Yes. You can add, change, or remove a password on any active transfer directly from your Transfers panel, and the change takes effect straight away. You can also enable restricted access to limit downloads to specific email addresses — useful when a document like a network architecture spec or a vendor agreement should only reach named contacts. If access needs to be cut off entirely, deleting the transfer immediately revokes the download link for everyone.

From your Transfers panel, hover over the transfer and copy the download link, then share it directly with the new recipient via email or chat. On a paid plan you can also forward the transfer to new recipients from within the panel itself. Either way, there's no need to re-upload — the original files stay exactly where they are.

Yes. You can rename any past transfer from the Transfers panel at any time, either by hovering over it in the list or opening the transfer's detail view. Keeping transfer titles aligned with revision numbers or project milestones — for instance, "Site Survey v3 - Region North" — makes it much easier to manage a large volume of documentation across multiple accounts or deployments.

Yes. Recipients can open PDFs, Word documents, and other supported file types directly in the browser without downloading the full package first. This is useful when distributing lengthy regulatory filings or multi-part technical documents to a large operations or field team — reviewers can confirm they have the right version and choose to download only the files they need. They can also leave comments on individual files and mark favourites, which helps consolidate feedback on things like draft service agreements or tender submissions.
