All your questions answered.
Yes. In your Transfers panel, hover over any sent transfer and choose Edit title to give it a new name — useful for labeling a file by quarter, version, or client without touching the original spreadsheet. The updated title appears in your panel and on the download page.
Open your Transfers panel, find the relevant transfer, and copy the download link directly from there. You can paste it into an email, a chat thread, or wherever the new recipient needs it — no re-upload required, and the original file stays exactly as it was.
You can add or update a password on a sent transfer at any time from the transfer's detail page — only recipients who know the password can open it. If you need to cut off access entirely, deleting the transfer immediately invalidates the download link for everyone.
Your Transfers panel shows a downloaded or not-yet-downloaded status for each transfer. For email transfers, you can see a checkmark next to each recipient's address once they've downloaded, and hovering over it shows the exact date and time. This is available on all plans with no extra setup needed.
On Free and Starter plans, transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days and cannot be recovered once gone. On Ultimate and above, you can set a custom expiry or keep transfers active indefinitely, and expired transfers can be recovered even retroactively. If you regularly send spreadsheets that need a longer shelf life, upgrading to Ultimate lets you control exactly when, or whether, a transfer ever disappears.
