Your Transfers panel keeps a full record of every video package, image gallery, press file, and broadcast asset you've sent. Search by title to surface a specific delivery, rename transfers to match a story update, resend a download link to a new editor or correspondent, or pull sensitive material from circulation the moment a story changes.
Keep track of all your files
In a newsroom, the files you sent yesterday can become urgent again by the morning's first editorial meeting. WeTransfer's Transfers panel gives journalists, editors, and media producers a searchable log of every delivery, so finding a specific package of raw footage, photo selects, or broadcast graphics means a quick search rather than a trawl through email threads. From the same panel, you can rename a transfer to match a revised headline or story version, resend an existing download link to a newly assigned desk editor or wire service contact, and update access settings, all without touching the original upload. If a transfer contains embargoed material or pre-publication assets, you can add or change a password after sending, or restrict access to a defined list of email addresses so only approved recipients can reach it. Deleting a transfer revokes the download link immediately, giving you a clean, reliable way to pull content from circulation when a story is spiked or assets are replaced.

All your questions answered.
Every transfer you send through WeTransfer is logged in your Transfers panel, and you can search by title to locate a specific delivery fast. Naming transfers when you send them, such as by story slug or assignment date, makes retrieval even quicker across a busy editorial schedule.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, you can copy an active transfer's download link and share it with a new editor, producer, or agency contact directly, no re-upload needed. You can also use the forward option to resend the transfer to a new email address straight from the panel.
You can add or change a password on any active transfer from its detail view in your Transfers panel, so only recipients who have the password can access the files. For tighter control, restricted access lets you specify the exact email addresses that are permitted to download, which is useful when embargoed press materials should reach only a named list of journalists or partners.
Yes. Hover over any transfer in your Transfers panel and select the edit title option to rename it at any time. Keeping titles aligned with story slugs, broadcast dates, or edition numbers makes it much easier to manage a high volume of deliveries across a busy news cycle.
Deleting a transfer revokes the download link immediately for everyone, which is the right move when a story is killed, assets are superseded, or sensitive footage needs to come down fast. On free accounts, expired transfers cannot be recovered. WeTransfer Ultimate and above let you recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before you upgraded, which can be valuable when archival footage or a past editorial package is needed again.
