Keep control of every image transfer you've sent

Your WeTransfer Transfers panel holds a full record of every image collection you've shared. Update settings, pull fresh download links, check who received what, or remove access — everything is editable after the fact, without touching your originals.

Keep track of all your files

Once your images are with a client or collaborator, things change — feedback rounds extend deadlines, someone loses the link, or a shoot gets pulled and access needs to go with it. WeTransfer keeps every image transfer you've sent organized in one place, so you can act on any of it without re-uploading a single file. Rename a transfer to match a project, copy its link for a new recipient, or revoke access instantly by deleting it. You can also add or change a password on any image transfer after sending, keeping sensitive work locked down even if circumstances shift. For photographers and visual creatives who share high-resolution images regularly, having that level of control after the send is what keeps a workflow clean.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Head to your Transfers panel and use the search bar to look up a transfer by its title. If you named your transfer when uploading — a project name or client shoot, for example — it'll surface immediately. It's worth giving image transfers a clear title at upload time so they're easy to find later.

Yes. Open the transfer in your Transfers panel, find the password field in the transfer details, and set, update, or remove the password at any time. The change takes effect immediately, so any recipient who tries the old password will be blocked. You'll need to share the new password with recipients directly, as WeTransfer doesn't include it in any notification.

In your Transfers panel, each sent transfer shows a status indicating whether it's been downloaded. For email transfers, a checkmark appears next to each recipient's address once they've downloaded — hover over it to see the exact date and time. If you want more detailed visibility, you can enable download tracking before sending, which notifies you each time someone accesses your files.

Absolutely. In your Transfers panel, hover over any active transfer and copy the download link, then share it however you like — email, chat, wherever. The images don't need to be uploaded again, and there's no limit on how many people can access a link transfer. For email transfers, you can also forward the transfer directly from the panel to new recipients.

On Free and Starter plans, image transfers expire after up to 3 days and cannot be recovered once they do. On Ultimate and above, you can set a custom expiry or keep transfers available indefinitely. Ultimate users can also recover expired transfers — including ones that expired before upgrading — so a high-resolution shoot sent months ago isn't necessarily gone for good.
